රාජ්‍ය සේවයේ කාර්යක්ෂමතාවය සහ ඵලදායිතාවය ඉහළ නැංවීම සඳහා සේවා අවශ්‍යතාවය අනුව යටිනුවර ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කාර්යාලයේ පස් මහල් ගොඩනැගිල්ල පසුගිය 17 දින වාරිමාර්ග අමාත්‍ය සහ රාජ්‍ය ආරක්ෂක, ස්වදේශ කටයුතු සහ ආපදා කළමනාකරණ රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය චමල් රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමාගේ සුරතින් විවෘත කරන ලදී. රට හදන සෞභාග්‍යයේ ප්‍රතිපත්තියට අනුව ගුණාත්මක මහජන සේවාවක් ඇති කිරීම මෙමගින් බලාපොරොත්තු වේ. නවීන තාක්ෂණයට අනුව ඉදිකරන ලද මෙම ගොඩනැගිල්ල සඳහා ස්වදේශ කටයුතු අමාත්‍යාංශයෙන් පූර්ණ අධීක්ෂණය යටතේ රුපියල් ලක්ෂ 825 ක් වැයවී තිබේ.
දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම් සමුළුව අද (17)ආරක්ෂක ලේකම් සහ රාජ්‍ය ආරක්ෂක, ස්වදේශ කටයුතු හා ආපදා කළමනාකරණ රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යාංශයේ ලේකම් ජනරාල් කමල් ගුණරත්න මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් පැවැත්විණි. ඒ රාජ්‍ය ආරක්ෂක, ස්වදේශ කටයුතු හා ආපදා කළමනාකරණ රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යාංශ ශ්‍රවණාගාරයේ දී.
Mrs. Himali Ratnaweera, Divisional Secretary, Kadawathsatara, Galle won the crown, marking the culmination of the competition to select the best public officer in the island in the year of 2020. Other government officials who competed in the competition were Commissioner of Co-operatives: Chamila Atapattu, Assistant Forest Officer: Mr. Chaminda Attanayake, SSP Mr.S. Munasinghe and Jaffna Divisional Secretary Mr. Sudarshan.
The 73rd Independence Day Celebration was held today (04) at Independence Square. under the theme of 'A Wealthy Tomorrow - Prosperous Motherland' with the Precedence of His Excellency President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Gotabaya Rajapaksa. This year's celebration was accommodated with the strict guidelines of the health department. The Parade of Tri forces, Armed vehicle, and the cultural dance performance took place at the celebration Hon. Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Diplomats, and Ministers have participated in the celebration
The National Independence Day Progress Review Meeting was held on today (20) at Independence square, chaired by the Secretary of State Ministry of National Security, Home Affairs and Disaster Management, General Kamal Gunaratne. The Commanders of the three Armed Forces, the Inspector General of Police, and other Chiefs of Defense along with Secretaries to Ministries and other government officials were present on the occasion.
